It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Nocturin 2.5 mg tablet at a fixed time.

Oxybutynin(2.5 mg)


Nocturin 2.5 mg tablet is used to treat urinary incontinence (inability to control urine), urgency and frequency to pass urine in unstable bladder conditions due to idiopathic detrusor instability (uncontrolled contraction of the bladder wall) or neurogenic bladder disorders (detrusor hyperreflexia in conditions such as spina bifida [birth defect affecting the spine] and multiple sclerosis). It is also indicated in children over 5 years of age for detrusor overactivity or a neurogenic bladder disorders, and for night time bedwetting, when other treatments have failed.

How it works

Nocturin 2.5 mg tablet belongs to class of medications called anticholinergics/ antimuscarinics. It works on the smooth muscles of the bladder, relaxes it and relieves the spasm thereby controlling the frequency of contractions and urgency to pass urine.
