Overview

Introduction

Nizoline Z Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines. It is used in treating allergic eye reactions. It relieves itching, discomfort, and irritation caused due to allergy. It also has antibacterial action that prevent infection of the eyes. It also reduces inflammation (redness and swelling).

Nizoline Z Eye Drop is strictly advised to be used only in the eyes. Use it in the prescribed dose and duration. Apply it only on the affected eye. You must wash your hand before administering the medicine. Do not use it more than the recommended dose. The medicine should not be stopped suddenly without doctor's consultation.

It is generally safe, but it may sometimes cause irritation, tingling sensation, discomfort, and pain in the eyes. These effects are mild and go away in some time. However, if these effects persist, you should consult the doctor immediately.

How to use Nizoline Z Eye Drop

This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

How Nizoline Z Eye Drop works

Nizoline Z Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Naphazoline and Chlorpheniramine Maleate which relieve eye itching/discomfort caused by allergies. Naphazoline is a decongestant which works by narrowing blood vessels of the eye to relieve inflammation. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers responsible for red, itchy, teary eyes.
