Nimtop L Tablet helps in the treatment of common cold symptoms. It relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, and congestion or stuffiness. It also blocks the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain, inflammation, and fever.

Nimtop L Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. Do not take more or use it for longer than recommended by your doctor.

Using of this medicine may cause some common side effects such as dryness in mouth, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and restlessness. If any of these side effects bother you or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help you with ways to reduce or prevent them.

The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions or disorders. How Nimtop L Tablet works

Nimtop L Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Nimesulide, Levocetirizine, Phenylephrine and Caffeine which relieve common cold symptoms. Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Levocetirizine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Caffeine is a stimulant which decreases sleepiness caused by Levocetirizine.

Quick tips

Nimtop L Tablet is prescribed to get relief from symptoms of common cold.
Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended.
Call your doctor if your symptoms have not improved within seven days of treatment.
Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications for cold.
Along with taking Nimtop L Tablet do the following simple tips at home to get relief:
1. Steam inhalation.
2. Gargling with warm saltwater.
3. Apply vapor rubs on chest, back if needed. Take enough rest.
4. Take warm food and fluid only. Ensure adequate fluid intake.
5. Advise hygiene measures to reduce spread: frequent hand-washing, avoiding sharing towels, pillowcases, etc.
