How to use Niftura Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Niftura 100 Tablet is to be taken with food.

How Niftura Tablet works

Niftura 100 Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by killing the bacteria in the urine that causes infection.

Niftura Tablet related warnings

Alcohol
CAUTION
Niftura 100 Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).
Pregnancy
PROBABLY SAFE
Niftura 100 Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
CAUTION
Niftura 100 Tablet should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Driving
Niftura 100 Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Niftura 100 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Niftura 100 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Niftura 100 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease, who are unable to pass urine or have high creatinine levels.
Liver
CAUTION
Niftura 100 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Niftura 100 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Niftura 100 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

What if you miss a dose of Niftura Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Niftura 100 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
