This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.
Nebracin-DM Opthalmic Solution is a combination of two medicines: Dexamethasone and Tobramycin which treat bacterial infections. Dexamethasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause redness, sweling and itching. Tobramycin is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Nebracin-DM Opthalmic Solution is unsafe to use during pregnancy.

Nebracin-DM Opthalmic Solution is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Nebracin-DM Opthalmic Solution may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Regular monitoring of kidney function tests and other blood tests is advisable while you are taking Nebracin-DM Opthalmic Solution.
Nebracin-DM Opthalmic Solution should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Nebracin-DM Opthalmic Solution may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
