Naphazoline(NA)

Uses

Naphace eye drop is used in the treatment of rhinitis (common cold) and conjunctivitis.

How it works

Naphace eye drop nitrate belongs to a class of medication called alpha 2 agonist. It works by temporarily narrowing swollen blood vessels and reduces swelling of mucous membrane in the nose to relieve congestion or irritation.

Blurred vision, Headache, Increased intraocular pressure, Dilation of the pupil of the eye, Tingling sensation

• Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
• Should not be given to patients allergic to naphazoline nasal or any of its ingredients.
• Should not be given to children < 12 years
• Should not be given to patients with heart disease, diabetes, depression, disorders related to thyroid glands.
• Should not be given to patients with high blood pressure and taking medication for the same.
