Moxigram LX Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Loteprednol and Moxifloxacin. Loteprednol is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause redness, swelling and itching. Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. This treats your infection.
Moxigram LX Eye Drop may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Moxigram LX Eye Drop is probably unsafe to use during lactation.
Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Moxigram LX Eye Drop may make you feel dizzy or light-headed, you may experience a sudden, transient loss of vision, or you may faint for a short period. This may affect your driving ability.
