Momeflo AZ Nasal Spray

Momeflo AZ Nasal Spray should be used exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use it more often or for longer than recommended. Normally you should blow your nose gently before using it, keep one nostril closed while applying the medicine into the other, and then sniff hard to make sure it reaches deep into the nose. Then repeat for the other nostril. It provides relief very quickly and can last for several hours. If you use this medicine too often or for too long, it may worsen your symptoms rather than improve them.

Using this medicine may cause some side effects such as headache, nosebleeds, dry or sore nose or throat. Let your doctor know if any of these symptoms bother you or get worse. They may suggest ways to reduce the symptoms.

Never support self-medication or recommend your medicine to another person. It is beneficial to have plenty of fluids while taking this medication. Before you start taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have a known history of being allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine. To make sure it is safe for you, let your doctor also know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

• Before using Momeflo AZ Nasal Spray, inform your doctor if you have an infection in your nose or recently had any surgery on your nose.
• When you first start using Momeflo AZ Nasal Spray, it is usual to use two sprays into both nostrils each morning.
• Try to use the spray at the same times each day. Once your symptoms are well controlled, you may be able to reduce your dose to just one spray into each nostril once a day or as prescribed.
• Do not use Momeflo AZ Nasal Spray more often, or for a longer period of time, than your doctor has recommended. This can increase the risk of side effects.
