Mifrex Plus Kit Tablet should be taken with food or as advised by your doctor. Treatment usually starts with a single dose of mifespristone, which should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. If you vomit within 30 minutes of taking the medicine, inform your doctor, as another dose may be required. The medicine may take 24–48 hours to start working, and you may notice spotting or bleeding during this time. After 36–48 hours, you need to take misoprostol, as directed by your doctor. You are advised to rest after taking this dose because it may cause abdominal cramps and vaginal bleeding, which indicate that the abortion process has started.

The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach cramps. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. Some side effects may mean you should inform your doctor immediately, including heavy vaginal bleeding or abdominal pain.

Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have ever had an ectopic pregnancy, are breastfeeding, or are using an intrauterine device. • Do not use Mifrex Plus Kit Tablet if you have an ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy outside the uterus), as it will not work and may cause serious complications.
• Use Mifrex Plus Kit Tablet only under a doctor’s supervision with proper instructions and follow-ups when required.
• Take misoprostol 36–48 hours after taking mifepristone, as instructed by your doctor.
• Rest for a few hours after taking misoprostol, as cramping and bleeding usually begin during this period.
• Vaginal bleeding and cramping are expected and may last for about 1–2 weeks.
• Use sanitary pads initially so bleeding can be monitored properly.
• Seek urgent medical attention if you experience very heavy bleeding, severe abdominal pain, fainting, or extreme weakness.
• Contact your doctor immediately if fever persists, foul-smelling discharge occurs, or severe one-sided abdominal pain develops.
• Arrange follow-up with your doctor to confirm that the pregnancy termination is complete.
• Avoid driving or operating machinery if you feel dizzy, weak, or unwell after taking Mifrex Plus Kit Tablet.
• Mifrex Plus Kit Tablet does not affect long-term fertility; use contraception afterward if you wish to avoid future pregnancy.
