How to use Mefsid Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Mefsid 40mg/250mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
This will help to avoid stomach upset.

How Mefsid Tablet works

Mefsid 40mg/250mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: drotaverine and mefenamic acid which relieves abdominal pain and cramps. Drotaverine is an anti-spasmodic medicine which relieves spasms associated with smooth muscles. Mefenamic acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Alcohol
CAUTION
Taking Mefenamic acid with alcohol increases the risk of stomach bleeding.
Pregnancy
