Medrox Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cefadroxil and Lactobacillus Acidophilus. Cefadroxil is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Lactobacillus Acidophilus is a live micro-organism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.

Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Medrox Tablet may cause a headache, dizziness, nervousness, sleeplessness, and fatigue, therefore the ability to drive may be influenced.
Medrox Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Medrox Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
