Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. M Cold Plus Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Take it with food if stomach upset occurs.
M Cold Plus Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Paracetamol / Acetaminophen, Phenylpropanolamine, Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Caffeine which relieve common cold symptoms. Paracetamol / Acetaminophen is a analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that causes fever and pain. Phenylpropanolamine is a decongestant. It narrows blood vessels in the nose to relieve congestion. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Caffeine increases the effectiveness of Paracetamol / Acetaminophen and decreases sleepiness due to Chlorpheniramine Maleate.

M Cold Plus Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

M Cold Plus Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
M Cold Plus Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of M Cold Plus Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. Use of M Cold Plus Tablet may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
M Cold Plus Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of M Cold Plus Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. However, the use of M Cold Plus Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
