Lubrigold Plus Eye Drops is an eye lubricant used to relieve dryness and discomfort in the eyes. Dryness may occur when your eyes do not produce enough natural tears to keep them moist. This medicine helps soothe irritation, burning, and a gritty sensation by maintaining proper lubrication of the eye surface.
Lubrigold Plus Eye Drops is usually used as often as needed or as directed by your doctor. Apply the recommended amount, and wait at least 5–10 minutes before applying any other eye medication to avoid dilution. Do not use the product if the seal is broken. Always wash your hands before use and avoid touching the tip to prevent contamination or eye infection.
Common side effects include mild eye irritation (including burning or discomfort) and increased tear secretion. These effects are usually short-lived. However, inform your doctor if they persist, worsen, or if your symptoms do not improve. Avoid driving, operating machinery, or performing tasks that require clear vision until your eyesight returns to normal after application.
Lubrigold Plus Eye Drops is not known to interact with other medicines, but inform your doctor if you have a history of eye diseases such as glaucoma. Avoid using it while wearing contact lenses, as preservatives in the drops can damage them. If you develop eye pain, redness, swelling, or signs of infection, stop using the medicine and contact your doctor promptly.
Dry eyes occur when the eyes do not produce enough tears or when the tears evaporate too quickly, leading to irritation, burning, redness, and a gritty sensation. Lubrigold Plus Eye Drops acts like artificial tears by adding moisture to the eyes and forming a protective layer on the surface. This helps relieve dryness, soothes irritation, and improves comfort. Overall, it keeps the eyes lubricated and prevents damage caused by prolonged dryness.

Hello doctor,I am a student so I sleep late and I rarely get a sleep of more than 7 hours and there's significant usage of phone while I'm awake. My eyesight seems to be normal but when I wake up in the morning, my eyelids are heavy and I find it difficult to keep my eyes open and there is minor irritation in the eyes. It goes away as the day progresses and after I wash my eyes properly in the morning. Please let me know what could be the problem and what medicine should I take to counter it. Thanks a lot :)
