Product introduction
Lubrigel Ocular Lubricant is an eye lubricant (artificial tears) used to relieve dry eyes. Dry eyes can occur when your eyes do not produce enough tears or when the tears evaporate too quickly, making the eyes dry and irritated. It helps lubricate the eyes, providing relief from dryness, burning, and irritation.
Lubrigel Ocular Lubricant is commonly used when needed. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not use the product if the seal is broken before you open it. Always wash your hands and do not touch the tip of the container. This could infect your eye.
The most common side effects of using this medicine are blurred or altered vision and sometimes pain in the eye. These are usually temporary and resolve on their own; however, let your doctor know if they persist or get worse. Do not drive, use machinery, or do any activity that requires clear vision until you are sure you can do it safely.
Let your doctor know if you have ever had glaucoma or any other eye condition. Remove your contact lenses before using the medicine if advised by your doctor or as directed on the product label, and wait before reinserting them if recommended.
