Frequently asked questions

Licatus Syrup is usually used to relieve symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, and dry cough. It can help reduce coughing, relieve a blocked or stuffy nose, and improve symptoms such as sneezing, a runny nose, and watery eyes, helping you feel more comfortable while recovering.
Licatus Syrup contains three medicines that work in different ways. Dextromethorphan helps reduce the urge to cough, Pseudoephedrine helps relieve nasal congestion by opening blocked nasal passages, and Triprolidine helps control allergy symptoms such as sneezing, a runny nose, and watery eyes.
Yes. Licatus Syrup is commonly used for dry, irritating coughs that occur with colds or allergies. Dextromethorphan helps suppress the cough reflex, which may reduce frequent coughing and allow the throat to recover.
Yes. Pseudoephedrine helps reduce swelling inside the nasal passages, making it easier to breathe through the nose. This may help relieve the feeling of a blocked or stuffy nose that often occurs during colds and allergies.
Some individuals may notice relief from symptoms within a few hours of taking the medicine. However, the time needed for improvement can vary depending on the cause and severity of the symptoms. Continue taking the medicine as advised by your doctor.
You may notice that your cough becomes less frequent and that symptoms such as nasal congestion, sneezing, and a runny nose begin to improve. Some individuals may also experience mild side effects such as sleepiness, dizziness, or dryness of the mouth.
A cough may continue for some time even after other cold symptoms improve. If your cough lasts for several weeks, becomes worse, or is accompanied by fever, chest pain, breathing difficulties, or coughing up blood, consult your doctor for further evaluation.
Yes. Symptoms may return if the underlying cold, allergy, or irritation has not completely resolved. If symptoms repeatedly come back or continue for a long time, speak with your doctor to identify the underlying cause.
Repeated episodes of cough, congestion, or allergy symptoms may indicate an underlying condition such as allergies, sinus problems, asthma, or another respiratory condition. If symptoms occur frequently, consult your doctor rather than using the medicine repeatedly without evaluation.
Yes. Triprolidine may cause sleepiness, tiredness, or reduced alertness in some individuals. These effects are usually mild but can be more noticeable in certain people. Contact your doctor if the sleepiness becomes troublesome or affects your daily activities.
Some individuals may experience dryness of the mouth, throat, or nose while taking Licatus Syrup. Drinking adequate fluids may help reduce discomfort. If the dryness becomes severe or persistent, consult your doctor.
Tell your doctor about all medicines, supplements, and herbal products you are taking before starting Licatus Syrup. Certain medicines may interact with its ingredients and increase the risk of side effects or affect how well the treatment works.
Seek medical attention if you develop difficulty breathing, severe allergic reactions, swelling of the face or throat, a very fast heartbeat, severe dizziness, confusion, hallucinations, or any unusual symptoms that develop suddenly and worsen rapidly.
Contact your doctor if your symptoms do not improve within a few days, keep returning, become worse, or are accompanied by high fever, chest pain, breathing difficulties, or severe side effects. Early medical advice can help ensure appropriate treatment and recovery.
