Side Effects of Licard are Ankle swelling, Headache, Tiredness, Palpitations, Increased potassium level in blood, Sleepiness, Cough, Taste change, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Decreased blood pressure, Stomach upset.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Licard 5mg/5mg Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Licard 5mg/5mg Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Amlodipine and lisinopril which lower blood pressure effectively. It works by relaxing blood vessels so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently.

Licard 5mg/5mg Capsule is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Licard 5mg/5mg Capsule is probably safe to use during lactation.
Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Licard 5mg/5mg Capsule may cause side effects such as dizziness, headaches, nausea or tiredness, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.
Licard 5mg/5mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Licard 5mg/5mg Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
