How to use Lancet Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lancet 400 mg/333 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Avoid Lancet 400 mg/333 mg Tablet with dairy products such as milk, cheese, curd, butter, paneer and ice cream.

How Lancet Tablet works

Lancet 400 mg/333 mg Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Metronidazole and Tetracycline. Metronidazole kills bacteria and other infectious microorganisms by damaging the DNA. Tetracycline stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Alcohol
CAUTION
Lancet 400 mg/333 mg Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).
Pregnancy
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Lancet 400 mg/333 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
Lancet 400 mg/333 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Use of Lancet 400 mg/333 mg Tablet is not harmful in short-term because milk levels are low. Prolonged or repeated use may cause staining of babies dental enamel or bone deposition of Lancet 400 mg/333 mg Tablet.
Driving
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Lancet 400 mg/333 mg Tablet may make you feel sleepy, dizzy, confused. You may have hallucinations, fits (convulsions) or temporary eyesight problems (such as blurred or double vision) affecting your ability to drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Lancet 400 mg/333 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Lancet 400 mg/333 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Lancet 400 mg/333 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver
CAUTION
Lancet 400 mg/333 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Lancet 400 mg/333 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

u shouldn't take antibiotics without prescription, for simple cold n cough take syp corex-Dx 1 tsf tid, for cold DO STEAM INHALAION TWICE DAILY, WARM SALINE GARGLES, AVOID EXPOSURE TO COLD,TAKE REST tab levocet 1 tab bd for 5 days, take healthy diet to boost ur immunity comprising of proteins, vitamins particularly vit C, take plenty of fluids if not better in 3 days consult physician hope this helps, antibiotics are reserved only for bacterial infections , most cold like illnesses are viral so no need of antibiotics
