Kyzific 40mg Tablet is a prescription medication used to treat adults with a type of blood cancer called Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic myeloid leukemia (Ph+ CML). It targets and inhibits specific proteins that promote cancer cell growth and helps manage and control the progression of CML.
Kyzific 40mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Try to take your medication at the same time every day for maximum benefits. Make sure to follow your doctor’s instructions regarding blood tests and other evaluations to monitor your response to the treatment.
Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, headache, fatigue, and muscle pain. If you experience these symptoms, talk to your doctor. They may be able to offer strategies to manage these side effects and ensure they do not interfere with your treatment. Drinking plenty of water, eating small and frequent meals, and getting adequate rest can help alleviate some of these symptoms.
While on treatment with Kyzific 40mg Tablet avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice, as they can interfere with the effectiveness of the medicine. Let your doctor know about all other medications, supplements, or herbal products you are taking, as this medicine can interact with other substances. Be cautious about activities that may increase your risk of bleeding or injury, as Kyzific 40mg Tablet can sometimes affect blood clotting. Women who are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding should discuss potential risks and benefits with their doctor to make sure it is safe for them.
In Treatment of Blood cancer (Chronic myeloid leukaemia)
Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic myeloid leukemia (Ph+ CML) is a type of blood cancer where there is an abnormal chromosome called the Philadelphia chromosome. Ph+ CML is a specific form of CML identified by the presence of this Philadelphia chromosome.
Kyzific 40mg Tablet works by specifically targeting the abnormal protein that causes cancer cell growth, helping to control the disease. This targeted approach not only improves the management of CML but also minimizes damage to healthy cells, leading to potentially fewer side effects compared to traditional treatments. This helps improve the patient's overall quality of life and treatment outcomes.
