Kolzep Forte Tablet is used in the treatment of bipolar depression. It refers to the "lows," or depressive phase, of bipolar disorder.
Side Effects of Kolzep are Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Constipation, Dryness in mouth, Weight gain, Sleepiness, Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing), Dizziness, Muscle rigidity, Restlessness, Tremor, Delayed ejaculation, Anorgasmia (decreased orgasm), Low sexual desire.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Kolzep Forte Tablet is to be taken with food.
Kolzep Forte Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Fluoxetine and Olanzapine. They work by increasing the activity of certain chemicals called serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine in the brain. These chemicals help relieve the symptoms of bipolar depression.

It may cause increase in weight, blood sugar, cholesterol, and triglycerides (fat). Eat healthy and exercise regularly.

Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Kolzep Forte Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Kolzep Forte Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Kolzep Forte Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
