Koligesic Tablet

Koligesic Tablet can be taken with or without food, in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. However, it is better to take it with food to reduce the chance of stomach upset. The dose depends on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. Continue taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. Do not stop treatment too early, as your symptoms may return and your condition may worsen. Inform your healthcare provider about all other medicines you are taking, as some medicines may affect or be affected by this medicine.

The most common side effects are nausea, dryness in the mouth, blurred vision, weakness, and nervousness. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. It may also cause sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it can worsen your sleepiness.

Before taking it, you should tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you. You should also tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding.

• Treatment of Abdominal pain : Koligesic Tablet helps relieve abdominal pain and discomfort caused by muscle spasms in the stomach and intestines, such as those associated with indigestion, infections, or gas-related conditions.

• Do not take Koligesic Tablet with other medicines containing paracetamol (such as some cold or fever medicines) unless advised by your doctor.
• Koligesic Tablet may cause dizziness, drowsiness, or blurred vision, so avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
• Avoid alcohol while taking Koligesic Tablet, as it may increase drowsiness and stomach-related side effects.
• Dry mouth may occur while using Koligesic Tablet; drinking water, frequent mouth rinsing, and maintaining good oral hygiene may help.
• Stay well hydrated, as antispasmodic medicines may worsen constipation in some people.
• Seek medical advice if abdominal pain is severe, persistent, or accompanied by fever, vomiting, or blood in the stool.
• Inform your doctor if you have glaucoma, urinary retention, enlarged prostate, or bowel obstruction before taking Koligesic Tablet.
• Stop the medicine and seek medical help if you develop rash, swelling of the face, or breathing difficulty.
• Consult your doctor if cramps keep recurring or pain worsens instead of improving.
