Indocap Gel belongs to a group of medicines called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is used for short-term relief of pain, inflammation, and swelling in conditions that affect joints and muscles. It works by blocking chemical messengers in the brain that tell us we have pain. It can help relieve pain in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.

Take it as it is prescribed to get the most benefit. Do not take more or for longer than needed as that can be dangerous. In general, you should take the lowest dose that works, for the shortest possible time. This will help you to go about your daily activities more easily and have a better, more active, quality of life.

It is less likely to cause stomach side effects as compared to oral medication.
Gently massage it into the skin of the affected area.
Do not cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages as these may increase the risk of side effects.
Do not apply to broken, diseased, infected, inflamed, or irritated skin, or to open wounds.
Avoid getting it in the eyes, mouth, or nose. Rinse with cold water if you accidentally get it in these areas.
It may increase the risk of sunburn. Avoid exposing the treated area of skin to excessive sunlight.
Do not use it for longer than 14 days unless recommended by your doctor.
