Product introduction
Take Icos+ 1G Capsule in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. You can take it at any time of day but try to take it at the same time each day. Most people with high cholesterol do not feel ill, but if you stop taking this medicine, your condition could get worse. This may lead to your cholesterol levels rising up again and increase your risk of heart disease and stroke.
It is important to have your cholesterol levels checked regularly. This medicine is only one part of a treatment program which should also include a healthy diet, regular exercise, smoking cessation, moderation of alcohol intake, and weight reduction. You can eat normally while taking this medicine, but try to avoid foods that are high in fat.
Common side effects of this Icos+ 1G Capsule include musculoskeletal pain, peripheral edema, constipation, gout, atrial fibrillation, joint pain, and oropharyngeal pain. If you experience any of these side effects that do not resolve on its own or get worse, let your doctor know. They may be able to help ways to treat or prevent them.
Before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have any other medical conditions. Let your doctor also know about all the other medicines that are prescribed to you. It may interfere with the working of other medicines. Pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctor before taking this medicine.

- Be sure to mention any of the following: blood thinners, beta-blockers, diuretics, birth control pills, estrogen replacement therapy. Your doctor may need to change the doses of your medications or monitor you carefully for side effects.
- Tell your doctor if you have or have ever had irregular heartbeat or heart rhythm problems, diabetes, or heart, liver, thyroid, or pancreatic disease.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding.
