Uses of Iceraft Chewable Tablet
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux) : A condition in which stomach contents, including acid, bile, and pepsin, flow back into the esophagus. This reflux can cause symptoms such as heartburn, acid reflux, and indigestion. In some people, it may also be associated with reflux esophagitis, hoarseness, sore throat, cough (laryngopharyngeal reflux), reflux after gastric surgery, hiatus hernia, or during pregnancy.
Benefits of Iceraft Chewable Tablet
Iceraft Chewable Tablet helps relieve symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), including heartburn, acid regurgitation, and indigestion caused by the reflux of stomach contents into the esophagus. How Iceraft Chewable Tablet works
Quick tips
- Take this medicine after meals and at bedtime, or exactly as prescribed by your doctor, for the best relief from acid reflux symptoms.
- Keep a gap of at least 2 hours between this medicine and other medicines, especially iron supplements, thyroid medicines (such as levothyroxine), certain antibiotics (tetracyclines and fluoroquinolones), bisphosphonates, chloroquine, and estramustine, as this medicine may affect their absorption.
- Avoid lying down immediately after eating. Wait at least 2–3 hours after a meal before going to bed, as this may help reduce acid reflux and heartburn.
- Eat smaller, more frequent meals and avoid overeating, as large meals can increase the likelihood of acid reflux.
- Identify and avoid foods or drinks that trigger your symptoms, such as spicy foods, fatty meals, chocolate, caffeinated beverages, or citrus fruits, if they worsen your reflux.
- Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine, as it can increase stomach acid production and worsen heartburn and acid reflux.
- If you are overweight, maintaining a healthy weight may help reduce pressure on the stomach and improve reflux symptoms.
