How G@pod CV Tablet works

G@pod CV 325 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cefpodoxime and Clavulanic Acid. Cefpodoxime is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefpodoxime against bacteria.

G@pod cv is a combination of two medicines: Cefpodoxime and Clavulanic acid. This medication is used to treat bacterial infection. This medication works by killing the harmful bacteria that cause infection.
Q. Can the use of G@pod cv cause any serious side effects?
G@pod cv may cause serious side effects in very few patients (less than 1 in 1,000). Inform the doctor straight away if you get bloody diarrhoea, yellowing of the eyes and skin, bruising or skin discolouration, shortness of breath, wide spread rash, skin peeling, fever. All of these reaction needs urgent medical attention.
Q. Can I stop taking G@pod cv when my symptoms are relieved?
No, do not stop taking G@pod cv and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cleared.
Q. Can the use of G@pod cv cause diarrhea?
Yes, the use of G@pod cv can cause diarrhea. Antibiotics can kill good, or helpful, bacteria in your stoamch or intestine and cause diarrhea. In case, you experience diarrhea, drink plenty of water or other fluids. Talk to your doctor if you have persistent diarrhea and any signs of dehydration like less urination with dark coloured and strong-smelling urine. Do not take any other medicines without consulting a doctor.
