How to use G@pod CV Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. G@pod CV 325 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How G@pod CV Tablet works

G@pod CV 325 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cefpodoxime and Clavulanic Acid. Cefpodoxime is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefpodoxime against bacteria.

Pregnancy

G@pod CV 325 Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Driving
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
G@pod CV 325 Tablet may cause side effects such as allergic reactions, dizziness or fits that may make you unfit to drive.
Kidney
G@pod CV 325 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of G@pod CV 325 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
There is limited information available on the use of G@pod CV 325 Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
