How to use Folimom D Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Folimom D Tablet is to be taken with food.

How Folimom D Tablet works

Folimom D Tablet is a combination of three medicines: doxylamine, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) and folic acid which treat nausea and vomiting associated with pregnancy. Doxylamine is an antihistamine which works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (histamine), thereby controlling nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) is a form of vitamin B which possesses anti-nausea properties. Folic is also a form of vitamin B which provides essential nutrients.

Alcohol
CAUTION
Folimom D Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Pregnancy

Folimom D Tablet is safe to use during pregnancy.

Lactation
Folimom D Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Larger doses or prolonged use of Folimom D Tablet may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby
Driving
Folimom D Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney
Folimom D Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Folimom D Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
Folimom D Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Folimom D Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
