Product introduction

Etogesic MR Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and take in the exact dose and duration advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor.


Some of the common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, loss of appetite, diarrhea, indigestion, and sleepiness. If these side effects persist or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these side effects.


The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any problems with your heart, kidneys, or liver. To make sure it is safe for you, let your doctor also know about all the other medicines you are taking. How Etogesic MR Tablet works

Etogesic MR Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Etodolac and Thiocolchicoside. Etodolac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasms. It relieves pain and improves the movement of muscles.

Yes, the long-term use of Etogesic MR Tablet can cause damage to the kidneys. Healthy kidneys produce a chemical called prostaglandins, which help protect them from damage. Long-term use of painkillers reduces prostaglandin levels in the body, increasing the risk of kidney damage. The use of painkillers is not recommended for patients with underlying kidney disease.
Keep this medicine in the container or the pack it came in, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children, or other people.
