You have been prescribed this combination medicine for relieving pain and inflammation.
Take it with food to avoid getting an upset stomach.
It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Don't drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you.
Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Etofit P Tablet as it may cause excessive drowsiness and increase the risk of liver damage.
Do not take it with any other medicine containing acetaminophen (drugs for pain/fever or cough-and-cold) without asking your doctor first.

Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Etofit P Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Etofit P Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Etofit P Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. Regular monitoring of kidney function tests is advisable while you are taking this medicine.

Q. Will Etofit P be more effective if taken in higher doses?
No, taking more of this medicine will not make it more effective. Consuming higher than the recommended dose of Etofit P can lead to increased side effects. If the symptoms are getting severe, please consult the doctor for re-evaluation.
Q. Can the use of Etofit P cause dizziness?
Yes, the use of Etofit P can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, stop what you are doing and sit or lie down for sometime or until you feel better. Do not drive or use any machines.
Q. Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Etofit P?
The use of Etofit P is contraindicated in patients with known allergy to any of the component or excipients of this medicine or in patients with known allergy to other pain killers. The use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of or active, recurrent stomach ulcer/bleeding and in patients with history of heart failure, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.
Q. Can the use of Etofit P cause damage to kidneys?
Yes, the long term use of Etofit P can cause damage to the kidneys. Normal kidneys produce a chemical called prostaglandins that protects the kidneys from damage. Use of pain-killers lower the levels of prostaglandins in the body leading to kidney damage on long term use. Use of pain killers is not recommended in patients with underlying kidney disease.
Q. What are the instructions for storage and disposal of Etofit P?
Keep this medicine in the container or pack it came in, tightly closed. Store it at as mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose off the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children, and other people.
Q. Can the use of Etofit P cause damage to liver?
Etofit P contains Paracetamol. These medicine are known to cause harm to the liver especially in the doses above the recommended level. Also, avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may further increase your risk of liver damage. Use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with the underlying liver disease. Contact your doctor immediately If you notice any early signs and symptoms of liver damage such as fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, yellow skin or eyes and abnormal live enzymes.
