Etisec Sachet
Product introduction
Etisec Sachet is also used in the treatment of dental infections, leg ulcers, and pressure sores. You can take this medicine with or without food. The amount you are advised will depend on what you are being treated for and how bad it is, but you should take this antibiotic exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Your symptoms may improve quickly, but continue taking the medicine for the full course, even if you feel fine. If you stop taking it early, some bacteria may survive, and the infection may come back. Do not drink any alcohol while taking this medicine and for some days after stopping it, as that may cause some side effects.
The most common side effects of this medicine include gastrointestinal disturbances, nausea, abdominal pain, dry mouth, a metallic taste, glossitis, and stomatitis. These side effects are usually mild, but inform your doctor if they persist or cause discomfort. Sucking on sugar-free candies or lozenges may help relieve dry mouth and the metallic taste.
Before using this medicine, inform your doctor if you are allergic to any medicine or have any kidney or liver problems, or any disease of the nervous system. Your doctor may change the dose or prescribe a different medicine. This medicine should not be taken if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless it is necessary and prescribed by your doctor.
