Product introduction

Epineuron Tablet may be taken with or without food, but you should try to take it at the same time every day. The dose will be decided by your doctor. Do not stop taking it without asking your doctor. If you do, your blood sugar levels may increase and put you at risk of serious complications like kidney damage and blindness. This medicine is only part of a treatment program that should include a healthy diet, regular exercise, and weight reduction as advised by your doctor.

The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, and increased liver enzymes. However, these are temporary and usually subside on their own. Please consult your doctor if these do not resolve or persist for a longer duration.

Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have any kidney or liver problems or a urinary tract infection or if you are on water pills (diuretics). Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking it. Avoid excessive alcohol intake while taking it as this may increase the risk of developing some side effects. Monitor your blood sugar levels regularly while taking this medicine.

Frequently asked questions

Epineuron Tablet is mainly used to treat diabetic neuropathy, a nerve problem caused by diabetes that can lead to pain, tingling, numbness, or weakness—especially in the legs and feet.
Individuals should not take Epineuron Tablet if they are allergic to vitamin B12 or any ingredient in the medicine, have a rare inherited eye condition called Leber's hereditary optic neuropathy (which causes vision loss), or toxic optic neuropathy related to tobacco use. Also, do not use it if you have diabetic ketoacidosis (a serious diabetes complication).
Although they are rare, serious side effects of Epineuron Tablet include skin rash, itching, nausea, stomach pain, headaches, dizziness, fatigue, severe confusion, extreme tiredness, or allergic reactions (swelling, trouble breathing). Seek medical help immediately if you experience any of these symptoms.
Symptoms of Epineuron Tablet overdose may include extreme fatigue, confusion, and significant gastrointestinal discomfort. If you suspect an overdose, seek emergency medical attention immediately.
