Benefits of Enstadin AB Tablet

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) is a group of lung diseases that cause breathing difficulties. COPD is caused by swelling of the airways that carry air in and out of the lungs. Enstadin AB Tablet relaxes the muscles of these airways and widens it. It also gives relief from congestion or stuffiness by loosening mucus and helping to cough out. This makes you breathe easy and gives relief from symptoms such as tightness in your chest, shortness of breath, wheezing and coughing. Avoid smoking and minimise your exposure to pollution, dust and fumes. Along with that, a little exercise each day can help you stay strong. Talk to your doctor about how much exercise is good for you.

Frequently asked questions

Enstadin AB Tablet is used to manage respiratory conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and bronchitis that cause breathing difficulties. It helps relieve symptoms such as wheezing, chest tightness, shortness of breath, and cough associated with mucus buildup, making breathing easier and more comfortable.
Enstadin AB Tablet contains Doxofylline and Acebrophylline, which work together to improve airflow through the lungs. Doxofylline helps relax and widen the airways, while Acebrophylline helps reduce airway obstruction and loosen mucus. Together, they help improve breathing, reduce chest congestion, and support better lung function.
Yes. Taking Enstadin AB Tablet after meals may feel more comfortable on the stomach, especially if you are using it for a longer period. Follow your doctor's instructions regarding the timing of doses.
No. Enstadin AB Tablet is intended for long-term management of respiratory conditions and is not designed to provide immediate relief during a sudden asthma attack. If you have asthma, continue to keep your prescribed rescue medication available for emergency symptom relief.
Acebrophylline helps thin and loosen mucus trapped in the respiratory tract, making it easier to clear through coughing. As mucus becomes easier to remove, some individuals may notice reduced chest congestion and improved breathing comfort.
Coughing may continue for some time because the body is clearing loosened mucus from the airways. As treatment continues and airway inflammation settles, many individuals notice gradual improvement in cough frequency and breathing comfort.
Some individuals may notice easier breathing and reduced chest congestion within a few days of regular treatment. However, the time needed for noticeable improvement can vary depending on the severity of the respiratory condition and the individual's response to treatment.
Doxofylline belongs to a group of medicines that may have effects similar to caffeine. Consuming large amounts of coffee, tea, energy drinks, chocolate, or other caffeine-containing products may increase feelings of restlessness or discomfort in some individuals.
Yes. Doctors may prescribe Enstadin AB Tablet as part of the long-term management of chronic respiratory conditions such as asthma and COPD. Regular use as prescribed may help keep symptoms under control and improve day-to-day breathing comfort.
Yes, in many cases Enstadin AB Tablet is prescribed alongside inhalers and other respiratory medicines. Continue using all medicines exactly as directed by your doctor unless advised otherwise.
Along with taking Enstadin AB Tablet regularly, avoiding smoking, staying physically active as advised, maintaining good hydration, and following your doctor's respiratory care plan may help improve overall symptom control and breathing comfort.
If your cough, wheezing, chest tightness, or shortness of breath continues despite regular treatment, or if symptoms become more frequent or severe, your doctor may need to reassess your condition and review your treatment plan.
