Ebexid 20mg/15mg/2mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Nicotinamide, Thyroxine and Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine). Thyroxine is a synthetic version of a hormone produced by the thyroid gland. It works by replacing the thyroid hormones that your thyroid gland cannot produce. This relieves the symptoms of hypothyroidism (tiredness, weight gain, and depression). Nicotinamide and Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) provide essential nutrients.

You have been prescribed Ebexid 20mg/15mg/2mg Tablet to improve the level of thyroid hormone.
It should be taken on an empty stomach (ideally, first thing in the morning). No food, milk, or tea should be taken 1 hour before and 2 hours after taking this medicine.
You may see benefit of taking this medicine only after 6 to 8 weeks.
Leave a gap of at least 4 hours before taking any antacids as it may interfere with the effect of Ebexid 20mg/15mg/2mg Tablet.

It is best to take Ebexid 20mg/15mg/2mg Tablet on an empty stomach (ideally, first thing in the morning before breakfast) as it contains Thyroxine / Levothyroxine. No tea/coffee, food or milk should be taken 1 hour before and 2 hours after taking this medicine as it affects the absorption of Thyroxine / Levothyroxine. For those who cannot take it empty stomach, can take it with breakfast but this could cause fluctuation in the TSH levels.
