Eberfine 1% Lotion should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. This medicine should be used regularly to get the most benefit from it. Do not use more than you need, it will not clear your condition faster and may only increase the side effects. Do not use the cream for longer than your doctor has told you to and let him or her know if your condition does not improve after 2 to 4 weeks of treatment. The effects of the medicine can be increased by keeping the affected area clean and dry, and washing hands before and after treating the infection. If you have athlete’s foot, wash your socks or tights thoroughly and change your shoes daily if possible. Some of the common side effects include skin irritation, redness, or itching at the site of application. Please consult your doctor if these side effects persist for a longer duration. Avoid direct contact with your eyes. In case of direct contact, wash your eyes with water and seek immediate medical attention. You should stop taking it straight away if you have any signs of an allergic reaction or of congestive heart failure. Signs of this include rash, swelling of the lips, throat or face, swallowing or breathing problems, feeling dizzy or faint and nauseous. It is not likely that other medicines you take by mouth or injection will affect the way this medicine works, but talk to your doctor before using it if you have recently used another medicine that contains a steroid or had an allergic reaction to another antifungal medicine. Hello, I work in a very sweaty environment, I recently had a ringworm outbreak, I used EBERNET and it worked perfectly fine for me, On the recommendation of a few friends who suggested to use anti-fungal soap for a few days to ensure that the spores are completely eliminated from my body. Are there any effective anti-fungal soaps or shampoos that I can use to treat ringworm infection? Is there a method to determine if my scalp is affected by ringworm's? If I do happen to have this, What should be my next set of actions to treat ringworm's on scalp, before visiting a hospital/clinic? Regards, PATIENT

Before using Eberfine 1% Lotion, clean and dry the affected area. Gently and thoroughly massage it into the skin. Be careful not to get the medication in your eyes or mouth. If Eberfine 1% Lotion gets in your eyes accidentally, wash with plenty of water and call your doctor if your eyes are irritated.
My itching is gone, so can I stop using Eberfine 1% Lotion?
You must complete the course of treatment even if the irritation is gone. Eberfine 1% Lotion is an antifungal medication and treats fungal infections of the skin. In fungal infection of the skin, the fungus stays in the layers of the skin. So, even though the medication may clear the symptoms in a few days, the infection can be present in deeper layers of the skin. You may need to keep applying this medicine for 4-6 weeks.
Will just applying Eberfine 1% Lotion relieve my infection?
Eberfine 1% Lotion is prescribed when the fungal infection is superficial. It is not always true, but sometimes superficial fungal infections need oral antifungal therapy too. So the doctor decides whether the patient needs just Eberfine 1% Lotion or a combination of Eberfine 1% Lotion and oral medicine depending on the severity and site of the fungal infection.
Are there any precautions that need to be kept in mind?
Fungal infections occur due to improper hygiene, weak immunity or even stress. They may occur as a side effect of other medications as well. Maintaining proper hygiene can prevent fungal infections. Bathe every day, trim your nails regularly, do not use anyone else’s towel, dry the infected area properly, and use clean undergarments that are made of cotton. Avoid wearing tight clothing. Complete the course of the treatment given by the doctor, avoid creams that contain steroids.
What is Eberfine 1% Lotion? What is it used for?
Eberfine 1% Lotion is an antifungal medicine applied on the skin to treat superficial fungal infections. It can be used in fungal infections caused by dermatophytes (fungus causing ringworm like infections) and yeast. Eberfine 1% Lotion acts by preventing the growth of the fungus by stopping formation of essential components of the fungal membrane responsible for structural and functional changes leading to abnormal cell wall synthesis, hence halting the growth of the fungal infection.
