How to use Dyamide Plus Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Dyamide Plus 50 mg/20 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Dyamide Plus Tablet works

Dyamide Plus 50 mg/20 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Spironolactone and Torasemide. Spironolactone and torasemide. They act on different parts of your kidney to get remove extra water and certain electrolytes, while maintaining the potassium balance in your body.

Alcohol
CAUTION
Taking Torsamide with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
Pregnancy

Dyamide Plus 50 mg/20 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
Dyamide Plus 50 mg/20 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving
Dyamide Plus 50 mg/20 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Dyamide Plus 50 mg/20 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Dyamide Plus 50 mg/20 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Dyamide Plus 50 mg/20 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver
CAUTION
