How to use Duova Multihaler

Check the label for directions before use. Hold the multihaler by the base and open the mouth piece cover. Slide the knob until you a hear a click. Place the mouthpiece between your lips and breath in deeply. Remove the multihaler and hold your breath for 10 seconds. Afterwards, rinse your mouth thoroughly with water and spit it out.

How Duova Multihaler works

Duova Multihaler is a combination of two medicines: Formoterol and tiotropium. Formoterol is a bronchodilator while tiotropium is an anticholinergic. They work by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widen the airways. Together, they make breathing easier.

Driving
Duova Multihaler may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney
Duova Multihaler is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Duova Multihaler may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
There is limited information available on the use of Duova Multihaler in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
