Drotarix-M Tablet

Take Drotarix-M Tablet with food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given may depend on the severity of your condition. Keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking, as some may affect, or be affected by, this medicine.

The most common side effects are diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, dry mouth, loss of appetite, feeling thirsty, and heartburn. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. It may also cause dizziness and drowsiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you.

Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding. You should also tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it can worsen your dizziness.

• Drotarix-M Tablet may cause dizziness or sleepiness, so avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
• Avoid alcohol while taking Drotarix-M Tablet, as it may increase drowsiness and stomach irritation.
• Do not take Drotarix-M Tablet with other NSAID painkillers unless advised by your doctor.
• Stop taking Drotarix-M Tablet and consult your doctor if diarrhea becomes severe or persistent.
• Stop Drotarix-M Tablet and seek medical help if you have black stools, vomit blood, or severe stomach pain, as these may be signs of stomach bleeding
• Drink enough fluids, especially if you have cramps or diarrhea.
• Inform your doctor if you have kidney disease, stomach ulcers, heart disease, asthma, or high blood pressure before taking Drotarix-M Tablet.
• Stop the medicine and seek medical help if you develop a rash, swelling of the face or lips, or breathing difficulty.
• Consult your doctor if pain is severe, persistent, or keeps recurring despite taking Drotarix-M Tablet.
• Your doctor may monitor kidney and liver function if Drotarix-M Tablet is used for long-term treatment.
