Drotaverine(80 mg)


Drotaverine is used to relieve spasm of smooth muscles in organs such as stomach and heart. It is used in the treatment of pain due to some condition such as ulcers of the intestine, irritable bowel syndrome, various diseases of intestines, pain due to gall stones and stones in the kidneys, pain due to various diseases of the liver and gall bladder, Drotaverine is also to treat certain types of headaches, for painful periods, and to relieve cervical spasm during labor.

How it works

Drotaverine belongs to a group of medicines called antispasmodics. Drotaverine decreases the tone of smooth muscles, reduces intestinal peristalsis and dilates blood vessels. It thereby acts as a direct relaxant of the smooth muscles of the gut and relieves painful contractions called as spasms.

How it works

Aceclofenac belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It acts by decreasing the chemical substance (prostaglandin) in the body, which causes pain, fever and inflammation.
