How to use Dotafac A Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Dotafac A Tablet is to be taken with food.

How Dotafac A Tablet works

Dotafac A Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Drotaverine and Aceclofenac which relieve abdominal pain and cramps. Drotaverine is an anti-spasmodic medicine which relieves contractions (spasms) associated with smooth muscles in the abdomen. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause abdominal pain and inflammation (swelling).

Taking aceclofenac with alcohol may increase risk of stomach bleeding.
Pregnancy

Dotafac A Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation

Driving
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
As Dotafac A Tablet may cause vertigo.
Kidney
