Overview

Introduction of Dorzox Eye Drop

Dorzox Eye Drop is used in the treatment of glaucoma. It helps to lower high pressure in the eye by inhibiting the production of fluid and reduces the risk of vision loss.

Dorzox Eye Drop is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using the medicine. Do not touch the tip of the dropper to any surface, as it may contaminate the eye drop. You should not discontinue using the medicine unless your doctor tells you so. Stopping the medication suddenly may worsen your symptoms.

Dorzox Eye Drop may cause bitter taste, burning sensation, stinging, or blur the vision. These are usually temporary and only last for a short time. However, if these symptoms persist or worsen, check with your doctor.

Expert Advice

  • Dorzox Eye Drop helps lower high pressure in the eye and reduce the risk of vision loss.
  • For best results, put one drop 2-3 times daily in the affected eye(s).
  • Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the drop. This minimizes the risk of side effects.
  • Do not touch the tip of the dropper to any surface, or to your eye, to avoid contaminating the eye drops.
  • Remove contact lenses before using Dorzox Eye Drop, and allow at least 15 minutes before re-inserting them.
  • When applying multiple eye medications, wait for at least 5-15 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
