General Information

Product introduction
Dokuzod Tablet is taken with or without food preferably at bedtime in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Tablets should be swallowed whole, do not chew, break or crush them. It is recommended to start with the lowest dose and increase if you need to, but do not exceed the maximum daily dose. Once your bowel movements are regular, you can reduce the dose and usually stop taking it. You should not use this medicine for more than a few days unless your doctor tells you to. Some lifestyle changes can help with constipation, for example eating more fibre in foods such as fruit, vegetables and cereals, drinking plenty of fluids and taking regular exercise.
The most common side effects of taking this medicine is abdominal pain. This is usually mild and go away after a couple of days. If they persist, your doctor may suggest ways of preventing or reducing them. Do not take other laxative medicines while taking this medicine and check with your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
You should tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you. Pregnant women should also consult their doctor before taking this medicine.
