Interaction with drugs

Taking Dexasole with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects

Herpes Zoster / Shingles Vaccine (Recombinant, Adjuvanted) (Injection Route)

Do not use Dexamethasone with Herpes Zoster / Shingles Vaccine (Recombinant, Adjuvanted). If essential, please consult your doctor. Dexamethasone may reduce efficacy of Herpes Zoster / Shingles Vaccine (Recombinant, Adjuvanted).

Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine (Injection Route)

It is recommended to wait at least 3 months after discontinuing a high dose of Dexamethasone before taking Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine.

Dexasole Injection increases the levels of corticosteroids in the body which helps in treating various illnesses involving inflammation (redness, tenderness, heat and swelling).
Dexasole Injection has anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressant properties. It is used to treat conditions like allergic conditions, anaphylaxis, asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory skin diseases.
