Introduction of Dexagee Tablet

Dexagee 0.5 mg Tablet is a steroid. It is used in the treatment of various diseases and conditions (such as severe allergic reactions, asthma, rheumatic disorder, skin disorders and eye disorders) that requires either reduction of inflammation or suppression of the immune system.

Dexagee 0.5 mg Tablet is to be taken with food. Take it regularly and at the fixed time of each day to get maximum benefit of the medicine. Do not stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor as it may worsen your symptoms. Taking Dexagee 0.5 mg Tablet can make it harder for you to fight off infections. Tell your doctor if you have any signs of infection such as a fever or sore throat. Taking Dexagee 0.5 mg Tablet can cause few common side effects such as mood changes, increased glucose level in blood, reduction in bone density and stomach upset. Inform your doctor if any of these side effects bothers you.

How to use Dexagee Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Dexagee 0.5 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

How Dexagee Tablet works

Dexagee 0.5 mg Tablet is a steroid which works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and allergies.

Alcohol

Pregnancy

Dexagee 0.5 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Dexagee 0.5 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Driving
UNSAFE
Dexagee 0.5 mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Dexagee 0.5 mg Tablet may cause dizziness (vertigo). Changes in your eyesight or muscle weakness may also happen. This may affect your driving ability.
Kidney
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Dexagee 0.5 mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Dexagee 0.5 mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Regular monitoring of kidney function tests and other blood tests is advisable while you are taking Dexagee 0.5 mg Tablet.
Liver
CAUTION
Dexagee 0.5 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Dexagee 0.5 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Hello , it generally increase in allergic disorders. But sometimes it may also suggest underlying serious blood disorders. Please consult a nearest pediatrician for clinical evaluation and management options. An opinion of pediatric hrmatologist may also be required.
Hi sir/Madam, my son completed 4 months on March 10th ( born on November 10, 2016). Some times I see that his eyes are not in co ordination with eachothet. I have attached a pic that I took yesterday for your reference. Last time ( he was 3 months old) when I met pediatrician he told it's normal till 4 or 5 months in kids. I wanted to check if this is normal and how long will it take to be like us. Or should I check with an eye specialist ? Pls help.

Hello, generally the accommodation and focussing of eyes happen by 5 months of age. If you notice any problem, please take an opinion of ophthalmologist to rule out congenital eye disorders.
