Depart Cold Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and at the same time each day to get maximum benefits from it. Do not take this medicine more than the recommended dose. An overdose may have harmful effects on the body. Prolong use of this medicine may harm your health, do not take it more than the prescribed duration unless your doctor advised you to do so.

It may cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, and upset stomach in some patients. Let your doctor know if any of these side effects bother you. Inform your doctor immediately if any rash or allergic reaction is observed while taking this medicine. They may be able to suggest ways to reduce or treat the side effects.

Before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have any other medical conditions. Let your doctor also know about all the other medicines you are taking. To make sure it is safe for you, tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding.

Depart Cold Tablet is a combination of medicines that effectively relieves symptoms of common cold such as runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, congestion, or stuffiness. It narrows the blood vessels in the nose and provides rapid relief from congestion. Depart Cold Tablet also does not cause much sleepiness due to the presence of Caffeine in it. As a result, you can do your daily activities more easily. Depart Cold Tablet is safe and effective. It usually starts to work within a few minutes and the effects can last up to several hours. Taking this medicine enables you to live your life more freely without worrying so much about things that set off your symptoms.

How to use Depart Cold Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Depart Cold Tablet may be taken with or without food.

How Depart Cold Tablet works

Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Dexchlorpheniramine is an antihistamine medication. It blocks the action of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for inflammation, congestion, itching, and other allergic reactions. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Caffeine is a stimulant which works by blocking the action of certain natural substances (adenosine and phosphodiesterase).

Depart Cold Tablet is prescribed to get relief from symptoms of common cold.
Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended.
Call your doctor if your symptoms have not improved within seven days of treatment.
Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications for cold.
Along with taking Depart Cold Tablet do the following simple tips at home to get relief:
1. Steam inhalation.
2. Gargling with warm saltwater.
3. Apply vapor rubs on chest, back if needed. Take enough rest.
4. Take warm food and fluid only. Ensure adequate fluid intake.
5. Advise hygiene measures to reduce spread: frequent hand-washing, avoiding sharing towels, pillowcases, etc.
