Cynq 1% Injection is used before eye examinations and to treat an eye condition called uveitis. On application, it enlarges the pupil of the eyes and helps the doctor visualize the eye more closely. It also reduces redness and swelling after cataract surgery.
Cynq 1% Injection is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Refrain touching the tip of the dropper to avoid contaminating the eye drop. Using Cynq 1% Injection can make your eyes more sensitive to light, wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from sunlight and other bright lights.
Using Cynq 1% Injection may cause burning sensation, irritation, or blur the vision temporarily. In most cases, it usually resolve quickly. However, if the irritation persists or worsens, contact your doctor.

What if you forget to take Cynq Injection?
If you miss a dose of Cynq 1% Injection, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Quick tips
- Cynq 1% Injection enlarges the pupil for eye examination and is commonly used in adults.
- It also reduces inflammation (redness and swelling) after cataract surgery.
- Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop.
- Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
