Creslip 40 mg/10 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of high blood pressure with high cholesterol.
Side Effects of Creslip are Nausea, Stomach pain, Constipation, Headache, Dizziness, Muscle pain, Weakness, Increased glucose level in blood, Increased potassium level in blood, Increased liver enzymes.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Creslip 40 mg/10 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Creslip 40 mg/10 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Telmisartan and Atorvastatin which treat high blood pressure and cholesterol. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood vessels and lowering blood pressure. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL).

Taking Atorvastatin with alcohol may increase the risk of liver damage.
Creslip 40 mg/10 mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
Creslip 40 mg/10 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation.
Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Creslip 40 mg/10 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Creslip 40 mg/10 mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Creslip 40 mg/10 mg Tablet is recommended.
However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Creslip 40 mg/10 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Creslip 40 mg/10 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Creslip 40 mg/10 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
