How to use Codo Capsule

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Codo Capsule is to be taken with food.

How Codo Capsule works

Codo Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Doxycycline and Lactobacillus. Doxycycline is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by the bacteria to carry out vital functions. Lactobacillus is a live microorganism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.

Pregnancy
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Codo Capsule is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
Codo Capsule is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving
Codo Capsule may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Visual disturbances such as blurring of vision may occur during treatment with doxycycline.
Kidney
There is limited information available on the use of Codo Capsule in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
CAUTION
Codo Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Codo Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

  • Your doctor has prescribed Codo Capsule to cure your infection and improve symptoms.
  • Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection to come back and harder to treat.
  • Take it with food and plenty of fluids to avoid an upset stomach and acid reflux.
  • Take it while you are sitting or standing, to prevent any throat irritation. Do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking this medicine.
  • Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.
  • Discontinue the medicine and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.
  • Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding.

u shouldn't take antibiotics without prescription, for simple cold n cough take syp corex-Dx 1 tsf tid, for cold DO STEAM INHALAION TWICE DAILY, WARM SALINE GARGLES, AVOID EXPOSURE TO COLD,TAKE REST tab levocet 1 tab bd for 5 days, take healthy diet to boost ur immunity comprising of proteins, vitamins particularly vit C, take plenty of fluids if not better in 3 days consult physician hope this helps, antibiotics are reserved only for bacterial infections , most cold like illnesses are viral so no need of antibiotics
