Codmont LC Syrup

Give Codmont LC Syrup to your child exactly as prescribed by the doctor, in the recommended dose and duration. It can be given with or without food. Try to give it at the same time each day to help maintain a consistent effect. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking this medicine, give the same dose again.

Your child may start to feel better after a few doses. Continue giving the medicine as prescribed to get the maximum benefit. This medicine may cause some mild and temporary side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, dry mouth, rash, or headache. These usually go away as your child’s body adjusts to the medicine. However, if these side effects persist or become bothersome, consult your child’s doctor.

Let the doctor know if your child is already taking any medicines. Also, inform your child’s complete medical history, including any prior episodes of allergies, heart problems, blood disorders, vascular disorders, birth defects, airway obstructions, lung anomalies, skin disorders, liver impairment, and kidney malfunctions. This information is critical for dose alterations and in planning your child’s overall treatment.

• Give Codmont LC Syrup exactly as prescribed and at the same time each day, often in the evening if advised by the doctor.
• Do not stop Codmont LC Syrup abruptly without consulting your child’s doctor, especially if it has been prescribed for asthma control.
• Avoid giving Codmont LC Syrup with other cold, flu, or antihistamine medicines unless advised by the doctor.
• Codmont LC Syrup may cause drowsiness, so monitor your child for sleepiness or reduced alertness.
• Watch for unusual mood changes, sleep disturbances, or behavioral changes and inform the doctor if they occur.
• If rash, swelling, or signs of an allergic reaction occur, stop Codmont LC Syrup and consult the doctor.
• Seek urgent medical care if your child develops sudden wheezing or breathing difficulty.
• Ensure your child avoids known allergens such as dust, smoke, or pollen whenever possible.
• Encourage your child to wear a mask in dusty environments and maintain good hydration to help thin mucus.
• Consult your doctor if symptoms do not improve despite regular use of Codmont LC Syrup.
