Cobarb 50mg/100mg Tablet is used in the treatment of epilepsy.

How to use Cobarb Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cobarb 50mg/100mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Cobarb Tablet works
Cobarb 50mg/100mg Tablet is a combination of two antiepileptic medicines: Phenobarbitone and Phenytoin. It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
Cobarb Tablet related warnings
Cobarb 50mg/100mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Cobarb 50mg/100mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Cobarb 50mg/100mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Baby should be monitored for excessive sleepiness and weight gain.
Cobarb 50mg/100mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Cobarb 50mg/100mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Cobarb 50mg/100mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

my wife PATIENT suffering from Epilepsy. she gets it generally when she is feeling weak or exhausted or if she has some small accident at home /outside which hurts her body part little severely. we did follow a course of epilepsy tablets for 6 month in 2010 but it was exhausting her and health was further deteriorating. hence stopped that. this year it happened twice every time with reason. me and family support her all the way emotionally / mentally. also makes sure that she is having proper diet and sleep. please advise what best can be done medicine wise and in terms of improving health by diet or nah other ways. thank you
