Benefits of Citamide Plus Tablet

Treatment of Hypertension (high blood pressure)
Hypertension, or high blood pressure, puts extra strain on the heart and blood vessels, increasing the risk of serious health problems. Citamide Plus 10 Tablet helps lower blood pressure by removing excess fluid and relaxing the blood vessels, which eases the workload on the heart. It helps effective blood pressure control while minimizing potassium loss, promoting better heart health, and overall well-being.
Treatment of Edema
Edema is the buildup of excess fluid in the body, often caused by heart, kidney, or liver problems, leading to swelling in the legs, ankles, or abdomen. Citamide Plus 10 Tablet helps reduce this swelling by increasing urine production and removing excess salt and water from the body. The medicine helps balanced fluid removal while maintaining important electrolyte levels, relieving discomfort, and improving mobility and breathing.

How Citamide Plus Tablet works

Citamide Plus 10 Tablet works by removing excess fluid and reducing blood pressure while maintaining the body's potassium balance. Torasemide, a diuretic, helps the kidneys eliminate extra salt and water, reducing swelling and lowering blood pressure. Spironolactone, a potassium-sparing diuretic, prevents excessive potassium loss while also helping remove excess fluid. Together, they help treat conditions like fluid buildup (edema) without causing major electrolyte imbalances.

Quick tips

  • Take it in the morning with breakfast to avoid getting up at night to urinate.
  • It may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Don't drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
  • To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
  • Your doctor may regularly monitor your blood pressure, kidney function, and the level of salts such as potassium and sodium in your blood while you're taking this medication.
