Cilidin TM 10mg/50mg/40mg Tablet is a medicine used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It is a combination of medicines that effectively controls blood pressure when a single medication is not effective. Early treatment with this medicine improves chances of survival in patients of heart attack. This medicine should be taken regularly at a fixed time each day. It should not be stopped abruptly as it may result in sudden increase of blood pressure. This medicine should be used along with a proper diet, salt restriction, and regular exercise for best results. Some patients may develop swelling of ankle as a side effect of this medicine. It may also produce dizziness initially, but this improves with time.

Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent stroke and heart attack.
Take it at the same time every day to help you remember to take it.
A sudden drop in your blood pressure may occur, especially when you first start taking this medicine. To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
It can cause ankle or foot swelling. Raise your legs while you are sitting down and talk to your doctor if it does not go away.
It may cause the level of potassium in blood to go up. Avoid taking potassium supplements and potassium-rich foods such as banana and broccoli.
Do not stop taking Cilidin TM 10mg/50mg/40mg Tablet suddenly without talking to your doctor.
