Uses

Chingasu 60mg injection is used in the treatment of malaria.

How it works

Chingasu 60mg injection, a semi synthetic derivative of artemisinine, belongs to class of medicines called sesquiterpene lactones. It rapidly attacks at the erythrocytic stage of malarial parasite in blood.

Common side effects

Pneumonia, Cough, Dizziness, Ecg changes, Fever, Headache, Injection site pain, Itching, Loss of appetite, Upper respiratory tract infection, Weakness, Nausea, Diarrhoea

  • Do not drive or operate machinery as arteether may cause side effects such as dizziness or nausea.
